إعادة تأهيل مستشفى المعمداني | Rehabilitation of Al-Ma’madani Hospital

انطلقت هذه المبادرة بهدف تأهيل مستشفى المعمداني عبر توفير معدّات تُسهم في الحفاظ على خصوصية المرضى وتخفف ولو قليلًا من الظروف المروعة التي يعيشونها. بعد استهداف المستشفى في شمال القطاع، بدأ استخدام المباني المتبقية – مثل الكنيسة والمكتبة – لاستقبال المصابين. وبسبب عدم ملاءمة هذه الأماكن لهذا الغرض، توفّر المبادرة قواطع خشبية تفصل بين المرضى لمنح كل مريض بعض الخصوصية، بالإضافة إلى توفير فرش للأسرة التي كان معظمها ينام على ألواح خشبية، وتركيب مراوح للتخفيف من تأثير ارتفاع درجات الحرارة على المرضى وإصاباتهم المتنوعة. اا

This initiative was launched to rehabilitate Al-Ma’madani (Baptist) Hospital by providing equipment that helps preserve patients’ privacy and alleviate, even slightly, the harsh conditions they face. After the hospital in the northern Gaza Strip was targeted, the remaining buildings – such as the church and the library – began to be used to accommodate the injured.

Due to the unsuitability of these spaces, the initiative provides wooden partitions between patients to ensure a degree of privacy, mattresses for beds that were previously just wooden planks, and fans to mitigate the impact of high temperatures on patients and their various injuries.
