A youth agricultural cooperative in the town of ʻArrābah, Jenin District, views the social economy as a developmental and economic alternative. The initiative operates three productive cooperative projects: The first project is on a 3-dunum plot of land and includes a greenhouse, a water collection pond, and a chicken coop. The farm is surrounded by grapevines. The second project is a site for breeding and raising ornamental birds. The third project is a plastic greenhouse on half a dunum for growing grains, along with a workshop for producing traditional dairy products such as cheeses and milk.
